Summary:In this work, we have presented a general framework to construct dimmable transmission scheme at fixed dimming percentage. We have explored the adoption of variable delta-sigma modulation to dim the LEDs installed with flicker mitigation under intensity control in Visible light communication technology. The dimming can be accomplished by adjusting the flow of average current in the LEDs through pulse width based modulation schemes. The experimental results have demonstrated the dimming capability of the proposed scheme with duty cycle regulation.
