Summary:In this way, specific labelling and identification documents as well as restrictions are laid down for the permitted breeding animals, from which embryos or ova, for example, are allowed to be taken. Regulation No 26 of 2010 on the specific requirements for the direct supply of small quantities of raw materials and foods of animal origin sets out the conditions and procedure for: the direct supply performed by the producer to the final consumer or to local retail establishments which directly supply final consumers with small quantities of: primary products - raw milk, honey and bee products, hen and quail eggs, and fresh and chilled sea and freshwater fish; fresh meat from poultry and rabbits slaughtered on the farm; shot large and small game or meat from large and small game; the supply of foods of animal origin, treated and/or processed in a retail establishment, to other retail establishments as a marginal, localised and restricted activity; the registration of persons performing direct supplies under subparagraph 1 and the registration of retail establishments from which the food supply under subparagraph 2. According to the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004, Member States should have some discretion to extend or to limit the application of the requirements of the Regulation to retail under national law. According to § 29c(6) of the amendment to the Animal Protection Act, the details of the method and scope of granting the compensatory contribution are to be laid down by the Ministry of Agriculture in an implementing decree.
