Summary: | The banking business is about people, both their customers and their employees. Within their institutions, their most valuable assets are the members of their staffs. ABA member banks employ two million people at every stage and station of a diverse industry. Their customers depend on them to carry out a multitude of tasks and responsibilities. ABA has a long history of helping them do just that through professional development programs offered by the American Institute of Banking, the Institute of Certified Bankers, and their schools and conferences. With that in mind, the author is more than pleased to report that they recently announced the merger of ABA's and America's Community Bankers' graduate-level banking schools to create the world-class ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. |
