Defining Syncretism: An Interim Report
The uniqueness of Christianity among the world's faith traditions has sustained a historically negative view of syncretism. It is argued that missiologists should not abandon the term "syncretism," since it does not only clarify the issue. The need to redefine syncretism is examined.
