Summary:Adeeko firmly believes that Ato Quayson's Calibrations instantiates the will to resolve the contradictions of localities into the absent higher order taken to be the source of their rationale for continued existence. He stresses that in the contemporary world, it is a fact that the authenticity of the global cannot be doubted in any serious way, but people seem not be acknowledging that the traditional outlets of mulling the local are being systematically corralled into higher service and servitude, and that to aspire to defy the dominant global these days is to risk being accused of capitulating to the will-to-transcendence.
