Summary:In this study, the growth of ZnO nanorods by chemical bath deposition on electron beam lithography patterned photoresist is demonstrated. The effect of patterning parameters on the density and distribution of the rods on a patterned substrate is illustrated. The possibility of using such ordered ZnO nanorods for nanoscale morphology control of the absorber layer in bulk heterojunction solar cells is proposed.
