FABSIM: a software for generating F ST distributions with various ascertainment biases

We have developed a software that applies ascertainment bias on simulated DNA sequences and calculates F ST on them, so they can be used to generate neutral distributions that are appropriate to test whether the genetic differentiation of a particular gene between populations is compatible with neut...

Description
Summary:We have developed a software that applies ascertainment bias on simulated DNA sequences and calculates F ST on them, so they can be used to generate neutral distributions that are appropriate to test whether the genetic differentiation of a particular gene between populations is compatible with neutral evolution, or, on the contrary, suggests local adaptation by natural selection.
