Summary:Nominations and Inquiries Nominations and/or requests for more information should be submitted to Cyrus Ernesto Zirakzadeh--Chair University of Connecticut PRQ Editor Selection Committee Cyrus Zirakzadeh--Chair University of Connecticut Val Martinez-Ebers University of North Texas Gary Segura Stanford University Richard Clucas--ex officio, non-voting member WPSA executive director Mark Button--ex officio, non-voting member University of Utah Managing editor representative PRQ and the WPSA PRQ , formerly the Western Political Quarterly , has been owned and published by the University of Utah since 1948. Since 1971, it has been a cooperative endeavor between the University of Utah and the WPSA. The "Memorandum of Understanding" governing this cooperative effort may be obtained by contacting Cyrus Zirakzadeh () or Richard Clucas (). Since 2007, SAGE Publications has served as the publisher of the journal. Application Process Applications must be accompanied by: a modified curriculum vitae, which highlights activities relevant to overseeing a major political science journal a candidate's statement about her or his goals for the journal, including ways of attracting manuscripts, working with authors, and increasing the journal's visibility and readership a letter from the appropriate administrative office of the nominee's university, at the level of Dean or above, indicating the institution's willingness to commit appropriate support Given the broad range of topics and subjects published in the journal, candidates are encouraged to consider submitting proposals for joint or team editorships, including collaborating with colleagues across universities.
