Summary:Essential oil extracted from dried aerial part of Artemisia arborescens L. collected from Bejaïa (Algeria), was analyzed by gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID) and gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The main constituents of the essential oil were chamazulene (30.2%), β-thujone (27.8%), β-eudesmol (8.1%) and catalponol (5.5%).
