Summary:The purpose of this work is to identify a set of comments and remarks from the analysis of the catalogue of recent translations of authors from the 18th french century in Spain (F. Lafarga, Actualidad del XVIII francés en España. Catálogo de las traducciones, 1975-2013): the authors and privileged structures, emerging authors, trade constraints, the role of the retranslations and reissues, the importance of the paratextes, etc. This is, ultimately, to highlight the main lines of force of the activity of translation of these works, noting their positive and negative aspects as well as their projections and their limits.
