Summary:In Barkley Sound, British Columbia, Pelagic Cormorants (Phalacrocorax pelagicus) have suffered massive declines of up to 85% since 1969. This decline is thought to be due in part to disturbance by humans and Bald Eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).
