Summary:To overcome the physical random access channel (PRACH) capacity shortfall, we propose a class of generalized symmetric Zadoff-Chu (SZC) sequences, which could be used to meet the stringent needs about the random access (RA) procedure of mobile satellite communications. Compared with the SZC sequences given by Cui et al. (IEEE Communications Letters, Doi: 10.1109/LCOMM.2015.2411610), the proposed new sequences have a large set size and the same good performance of anti-frequency offset.
