Summary: | This article illustrates the benefit of crosspolarization, both in intensity and in phase, to discriminate urban areas and vegetation when there is an ambiguity while using the Pauli decomposition. This ambiguity occurs when buildings are rotated with respect to the sensor trajectory. In this case, we show that because the dissymetry is not of the same nature (deterministic vs quasi-random), it is then possible to discriminate these two environments. |
