Summary: | High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) is a severe threat to the electronics across wide sectors viz. commercial, industrial, defense, etc. The electronics which are operating to perform critical, time-urgent command, control, communications, computer, and intelligence (C 4 I) missions for hardening of HEMP need to be evaluated for the pulses as per MIL STD 188-125-1&2. In this paper, various types of point-of-entry (POE) protection systems are evaluated for E1 & E2 HEMP pulses by measuring the residual currents. |
