Summary:In this paper, the electric vehicle charging modes status at home and abroad was summarized. Electric vehicle based on peak valley price guide conventional charging, fast charging and battery switch model of charging load model was set up. Monte Carlo method is applied to study the large-scale electric vehicle's influence on the original electric load under different charging modes and different charging load, which also provides an important basis for the development of electric vehicle charging model selection, subsequent charging infrastructure planning and power grid planning in the future. The study results show that battery switch mode can make full use of low power grid load to charge, and charging time does not take user's demand for travel into consideration, which facilitates the electric grid scheduling. Under the direction of system of the peak and valley electricity price, conventional charging mode can also plays a better role in load shifting.
