Description
Summary:Finite element tearing and interconnecting method(FETI) is used to analyze the electromagnetic scattering of finite periodic structures. The original computational domain is partitioned into several non-overlapping sub-domains, the equivalent functional is established with Lagrange multipliers between the neighboring sub-domain to keep the electric field continuity on the interface. In the matrix calculation, the cholesky decomposition is adopted, which reduce computation time greatly. Compared to the full wave analysis with finite element method, the memory consumption is greatly reduced in the presented algorithm, which expand the application of finite element method in electromagnetic analysis of large-scale periodic structure. The accuracy and effectiveness are verified by some numerical examples presented.
