Summary: | Content-Centric Networking (CCN) enables content access and retrieval by its name for effective sharing. However, a user may not know the full exact CCN name of content to access, and thus likely encounters a daunting task of searching for the name. In this paper, we propose an efficient prefix-based CCN search protocol, which augments the basic CCN protocol. Using our protocol, users can access content easily without knowing its full CCN name. Moreover, the number of control packets for search operation can also be significantly reduced when compared with the similarity content search. |
