Summary: | In this paper an application of computer controlled laser system for creating artificial rain in the atmosphere has been demonstrated. The laser pulse breaks the bond of N 2 and O 2 and produces excited N* and O*. These excited species take part in endothermic reactions and abstract tremendous amount of heat from the surrounding. This creates cooling, resulting in precipitation and rain fall. |
