Summary: | A prioritised adaptive CDMA scheme in which processing gain is given priority over modulation and coding schemes (MCS) in wireless systems is presented. The need for such design is necessary for increased bit rate. A scheme that has the capability to optimise both throughput and quality of service without sacrificing the required bit rate is designed. This is applied to direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) wireless networks for efficient broadband systems. Simulation results show that the proposed adaptive CDMA scheme provides throughput improvement of the application and overall system performance using priority-based optimisation. |
