Summary: | In this letter, a new strategy is demonstrated by a distributed 2D multi-single emitters (MSE) laser diode array based on spectral beam combining (SBC) and beam shaping system (BSS). For the MSE-SBC, the maximum O-O efficiency is 83.82%, which leads to an output power of 86.5 W and the spectral span is 4.64 nm under continuous wave operation at a current of 8 A. M2 of 2.96\times 12.99 in vertical and horizontal directions are obtained at 8 A after the BSS, which can be coupled into a 105~\mu \text{m} , 0.22 NA fiber efficiently. Such technology is perspective to achieve high brightness and efficiency of laser diode fiber coupling. |
