Summary:This paper introduces a modified control structure specifically designed for Power Factor Correction (PFC) boost converters. The primary aim of this structure is to enhance performance, particularly under conditions of light load. The proposed approach addresses a common challenge in power electronics PFC boost converters - maintaining stability when the load is minimal. This is a critical aspect of power system design and operation, as instability under light-load conditions can lead to inefficiencies. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed control structure, both simulation and experimental results are presented, providing concrete evidence supporting the benefits of the approach.
