Summary: | This paper demonstrates an inter-element mismatch compensation of a phased-array beamformer with Doherty power amplifiers using a fast inter-modulation distortion (IMD) measurement technique. All 256 elements of phased array are measured simultaneously applying an orthogonal code. The proposed method can characterize the power dependency of IMD about 40 times faster than the conventional method. |
