Summary: | The life history traits of three morphs of the parth-enogenetic snail Melanoides tuberculata were studied under laboratory conditions. Differences in growth size, mortality and reproduction rates were observed between morphs, indicating adaptation to different demographic strategies. These results are discussed in relation to the invasion of the species which occurred in Guadeloupe and Martinique. |
