Summary:The authors presented a work that raises the reliability of agricultural machinery, the organization of diagnostic procedures and the effective use of units by reducing downtime. It is proposed to organize the diagnostic process according to the hierarchical principle and use the expert system to analyze the state of the object in the current situation. The diagram of the structure of the diagnostic system using the center of the state analysis is presented. The article is of interest to specialists working in the field of operating grain harvesters and increasing the productivity of agricultural work.
