Description
Summary:Abstract Thermoelectric generation using the anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) is demonstrated in multilayer-laminated coils comprising ferromagnetic metal wires stacked in the radial direction. By applying a temperature gradient to the coils in the radial direction, the thermoelectric voltage and power induced by the ANE appear and increase in proportion to the number of stacked layers. This device structure is useful for improving the thermoelectric performance and versatility of energy-harvesting devices based on the ANE.
