Summary:Electrochemical performances in cycling and overcharge of Li 4 Ti 5 O 12 (LTO) // LiNi 1/3 Mn 1/3 Co 1/3 O 2 (NMC) batteries with two ionic liquid-based electrolytes and a commercial carbonate were investigated at 60 °C. These experiments were performed in coin and pouch cells allowing the full characterization of decomposition products and electrodes surface by SEM, XRD and XPS techniques, after cycling and overcharge.
