Description
Summary:Josephson junction networks or Josephson circuit systems are investigated systematically. A circuit topology with five junctions in a double loop structure is considered in this paper of the series. The static characteristics of the circuit system are analyzed by state-diagram calculations with an equivalent circuit model, and by experiments on a circuit consisting of Dayem microbridges. Uniform magnetic field, injected current biases and temperature variations are used to investigate the static characteristics. The experimental results could be explained qualitatively by the calculated state diagrams. It is confirmed that anti-parallel fluxoids can enter into two adjacent loops under certain current bias conditions.
