Description
Summary:The results of a study of the changes in the properties of the samples of VKU-25 carbon fiber-reinforced plastic and VSE-1212, ED-20/DADFS polymer matrices in the presence of polyarylsulfone PSFF-30 as a thermoplastic were analyzed. The sorbed moisture has no effect on the glass transition temperature of polyarylsulfone. At the PSFF-30/thermoset interface the material degrades at 230°С in the initial state and at 209°С upon saturation with moisture. A part of the diffused moisture is located in the interglobular space of the ED-20/DADFS polymer matrix, where it remains even after drying the samples. The polyarylsulfone additive causes a 4–5% change in the glass transition temperature of the epoxy matrix upon saturation with moisture or in the initial state.
