Description
Summary:A mathematical model is considered for the kinetics of dissolution and growth of solid particles by the diffusion mechanism in apparatuses with the stirring of a liquid phase. The mathematical model of the kinetics is based on the concept of the pseudolaminar boundary layer on the surface of a particle. The reliability of the developed mathematical model is verified by experimental data on rubber crumb degassing and silver halide crystallization in stirred apparatuses.
