New records and notes on Laephotis Thomas, 1901 (Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae)

A new record of Laephotis wintoni is described from central Tanzania. Other specimens and records of the genus are re-examined and discussed, resulting in new distributional limits for L.botswanae and the determination of the specific hosts of published specimens of bat bugs ( Cacodmus).
