Synthesis of Highly Conjugated Two-Dimensional Molecular Scaffolds via Pd-Catalyzed Reactions on a Tetraphenylethylene Core

Abstract A facile synthesis of ethylene centered highly conjugated two-dimensional molecular scaffolds is described via Pd-catalyzed coupling reactions (Sonogashira and Heck reactions) on a tetraphenylethylene core.
