Summary:The research presents findings concerning the prospects of the implementation of digital transformation technologies (DTT) for more sustainable processes in logistics and supply chain management of manufacturing companies. DTT can enable improvements with regards to energy efficiency, reducing transport and distribution distances and optimizing logistics resources. This research is based on qualitative case studies among manufacturers. A special emphasis is put on social and environmental sustainability as current research often focuses on the economical dimension. Results indicate that the deployment of DTT in logistics and supply chain management have a moderate positive impact on the environmental and social sustainability dimension.
