Particularly valuable features of this method include high yields of products, recyclable reaction media, broad substrate scope, short reaction time and operational simplicity.
A series of 14‐aryl‐1,6,7,14‐tetrahydrodibenzo[a,i]acridine‐1,6‐diones have been synthesized by three‐component reactions of aromatic aldehyde, 2‐hydroxy‐1,4‐naphthoquinone and naphthalen‐2‐amine in ionic liquid [bmim]BF4 at room temperature. Particularly valuable features of this method include high yields of products, recyclable reaction media, broad substrate scope, short reaction time and operational simplicity. |
