The most notable producer of clean milk is Perfect Day (formerly Muufri), a biotechnology start-up funded by New Harvest, a charitable organization that has also funded research into the development of clean (in vitro) meat. However, home biohackers – including those associated with the US-based Real Vegan Cheese project – are pursuing similar goals.
