Urea-containing oligomers/polymers as chemosensors for visual detection of phosphate anions

Isomeric urea-containing polymeric/oligomeric chemosensors for anions were prepared by means of interaction of isomeric diaminobihenyls with triphosgene. An intensive “turn-on” fluorescence response toward phosphate anion in solutions was observed.
