Now, another high-end fair, the Pavilion of Art & Design (or PAD) is coming to New York for the first time, from Nov 10 to Nov 14 at the Park Avenue Armory. Started in Paris in 1997, PAD's emphasis on modern arts as well as 19th-, 20th-and 21s century decorative arts and design reflects its founder's respective areas of expertise: Stephane Custot is a partner in Hopkin-Custos gallery in Paris, which specialized in modern and contemporary art; Perrin is a design author and furniture collector and dealer.
