Ein Gemisch aus gleichen Volumina Überchlorsäure und Phosphorsäure ist ein ausgezeichnetes Lösungsmittel für Sulfiderze vor der Kupferbestimmung. Die Auflösung geht rasch ohne Siedeverzüge vor sich und die visuelle pH-Einstellung vor der jodometrischen Kupferbestimmung ist einfacher. Un mélange à volumes égaux d'acide perchlorique et d'acide phosphorique est un solvant excellent pour les minerais sulfurés préalablement au dosage du cuivre. La dissolution est rapide, il n'y a pas de soubresauts, et l'ajustage visuel du pH avant la détermination iodométrique du cuivre est plus aisé.
