Evolved environment-dependent expression of detoxication enzyme activity in Drosophila melanogaster

A study that characterizes the activity of epoxide hydrolases and glutathione S-transferases in D. melanogaster reared on standard laboratory medium as well as on lemon, which can be used by flies as a resource in the field, is presented.
