Although public interest in safeguarding heritage materials continues to grow, recent economic challenges confront twenty-first century academic archivists. The story of the origins of the Colorado State University Archives illustrates the influence of historians on the preservation of archival records and offers examples of archival outreach activities that support the institution's mission while building the repository. |
